Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an active directory architecture solution.
  • Provide support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and identity management solutions.
  • Perform daily systems monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Perform analysis for collaboration of network / system needs and participate in planning, designing, upgrading and deployment of enterprise datacenter hardware and software using a project-based timeline.
  • Provide management of internal Domain Name Service (DNS) for active directory domains.
  • Provide management of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) for active directory domains.
  • Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on system use to include account utilization, Directory Information Tree (DIT) accuracy, and directory replication. and Global Address List (GAL) replications using the AF Hub.
  • Perform PowerShell scripting for AD administration.
  • Analyze a wide array of networking metrics and recognize substandard network performance.
  • Develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents.
  • Provide General IT Management support.
  • Provide General Networking support.
  • Provide LAN support.
  • Provide WAN Enterprise support.
  • Provide technical and general O&M support.
  • Provide documentation/reports support as required.
  • Provide meetings/briefings support as required.
  • Provide functional training support as required.
  • Provide OCONUS deployment/TDY travel support as required.
  • Provide CONUS TDY support as required.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in related field and 5 or more years’ relevant IT experience or 7 or more years’ relevant IT experience. 
  • Firewall experience. 
  • Knowledge of what constitutes a “threat” to a network. 
  • Skill in providing feedback to enhance future collection and analysis. 
  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server in Host and Compute Environments, and Windows Server using server images. 
  • Experience with implementation of storage solutions, high availability, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions, core and distributed network solutions, advance network infrastructure, and maintain and monitor server environments. 
  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with managing Microsoft users and permissions, creating active directory domain services (AD DS) forests, designing server infrastructure, troubleshooting, protecting network, and user data. 
  • Network+ or CCNA  
  • ITIL Foundation (candidate has up to 60 days to acquire ITIL Foundation certification) 
  • Active Secret clearance
