In this role you will support the development, testing, deployment, documentation and maintenance of the Windows infrastructure within the JRSS architecture.
Provide tier 2/3 operations support for JRSS Windows-based systems. Responsible for implementing, testing and evaluating upgrades, patching, STIG'ing, and
troubleshoot system issues.
Support the design, development, test, and deployment of the JRSS Windows-based systems as required for new or upgraded functionality.
Develop documentation as required to operationalize new or updated capabilities.
Deploy systems into production.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Equivalent work experience will be
considered in lieu of degree.
You must hold an active Secret Clearance and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance to per program requirements.
You must have current IAT II 8570 certification (Security+ce, CISSP) to qualify.
Good knowledge of Active Directory with experience in managing AD, DNS, and DHCP
Strong knowledge of server virtualization
Experience building and managing systems within VMware 5.5 or later
Strong understanding of WAN/LAN principles, network hardware/protocols (Ethernet adapters, routers, switches, cabling).
Experience with the design and implementation of backup solutions
Experience with the design and implementation of storage solutions (SAN, vSAN)
Experience with DISA STIGS
Experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), certificate authority (CA) configuration and how they are used to manage server and user certs
Experience deploying and configuring McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)
Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, Python, etc
Experience with MS SQL
