    SMS, a fast growing, veteran-owned business is seeking a Talent Acquisitions Recruiter/Sourcer to support our team of Technical Recruiters.  This full-time role will support our current recruiting team with the objective of increasing the candidate pipeline by sourcing candidates, assessing qualifications and positioning them appropriately for job opportunities within SMS. The right candidate will be able to "wear many hats" and make a significant contribution to the overall success of the whole company.


    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identify potential candidates through the internal resume database, candidate referrals, networking and web sourcing
    • Focus on sourcing cleared level candidates and be able to identify a pipeline of candidates
    • Identify qualified candidates using various sourcing tools/techniques from online social networking, referrals and traditional methods (e.g. Boolean search)
    • Create and send recruiting emails
    • Coordinate with hiring managers to determine position requirements
    • Screen candidates for basic qualifications, interest, salary, availability and more.
    • Ensure work is compliant with employment laws and regulations of OFCCP.
    • Work closely with technical recruiters to develop strategies to generate candidate flow and pipeline to meet overall recruiting goals
    • Work within Applicant Tracking System to manager all open requisitions and track updates of the candidate pipeline.
    • Assist candidates through the recruitment process


    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with sourcing and building candidate pipelines
    • Previous experience using ATS (applicant tracking system), iCIMS preferred
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with candidates, management and hiring managers
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
    • Exercises discretion with confidential information related to the company and its employees
