    Responsibilities

    Provides Tier I/II support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems with a variety of hardware, software and mobile devices. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Has experience with Air Force approved Standard Desktop images (including by not limited to Windows 8/Windows 10) and approved Microsoft Office software (including by not limited to 2007/2010/2013). Has knowledge of LAN infrastructure, server hardware and software and related support tools. Able to support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. May manually apply security patches if remote pushes are unsuccessful. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem in Remedy to ensure a timely resolution.

     

    Must have CompTIA Sec + certification and Active DoD Secret clearance.

    May require a bachelor's degree with at least 2 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area with at least 3 years' of Information Assurance experience and 3 years' experience working with DoD asset management under AFMAN33-153.
