    Responsibilities

     

    This Senior Engineer will perform security assessments to ensure compliance with the RMF and USAF specific requirements. The position will also require the ability to technically assess both application and general support system security configurations and implementation. The candidate will have had prior experience working with a wide variety of technologies, be well versed in the current state of Information Security, and be able to interpret the requirements of relevant governing bodies.

     

    • Analyze complex network and IA systems in unclassified and classified environments for compliance with DHS, CIS and industry best practices security configuration requirements
    • Configure and execute NESSUS security scans
    • Configure and execute nMap security scans
    • Configure and execute WebInspect security scans
    • Configure and execute DBProtect security scans
    • Possess basic administrator level knowledge of Windows and UNIX/LINUX systems
    • Basic SQL and database knowledge
    • Provide technical evaluation of proposed system(s) and application approaches
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently as required.
    • Validation of Information Assurance (IA) Controls

     

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in a Business Management or MIS related field. 

     

    Misc.

    Must have and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.

     

    Four to six years of progressively responsible IT security consulting and management experience including recent experience with RMF.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing Technical Assessments (Vulnerability analysis, penetration testing).
