    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Recruiting Department with all functions of the recruitment process.
    • Assist with applicant correspondence and follow-up.
    • Interview, hire, process and coordinate new hire onboarding documents to meet internal recruitment efforts as instructed.
    • Prepare and advertise job postings for internal vacancies.
    • Participate in candidate pre-screening and initial selection for hiring managers requesting recruiting assistance.
    • Comply with all employment laws, policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
    • Collaborate with the Recruiting Department to create recruiting best practices, standards and guidelines.
    • Ability to work with a sense of urgency that paces current recruiting initiatives.
    • Attend job fairs (on and off campus).
    • Actively recruit by performing job board resume searches and networking.
    • Perform all other recruiting tasks as assigned by the Recruiting Manager. 

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

     

    • Two years’ working experience in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, including demonstrated success interacting with both internal and external customers.

     

    Experience:

     

    This is an entry-level position; 0 to 2 years of experience in recruiting or staffing, or a combination of recruiting and supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
