    Job Description:

    Supports space management tasks related to property accounting, receiving, decommissioning, documentation and control. Coordinates facility maintenance activities, including submission and tracking to completion of all alterations and repairs, providing general logistical and inventory/property control support, and assisting the Joint Service Provider – Computing and Applications Service Division on-site Contracting Officer’s Representative and Property Control Representative.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting periodic quarterly inspections and internal audit reviews of the operational facility to identify/assess safety hazards, document results, and develop reports
    • Assisting the Government with investigating specific incidents and assisting other Government authorities for scheduled and unscheduled inspections and audits
    • Coordinating with the Facilities team to:
      • Develop safety and environmental internal audits to monitor the progress of any necessary corrective actions in accordance with (IAW) prescribed laws, regulations, and initiatives, and evaluate facility environmental and safety practices and procedures
      • Track and label all IT hardware (servers, workstations, and peripheral devices), software operating systems and applications, cabling, and server racks
      • Submit and track to completion all alterations and repairs to the facility
      • Deliver documentation of electric power routing of all circuit breakers to respective racks/Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and update documentation when changes are made
      • Ensure that electric power is available from both a primary and secondary power feed from the two main facility PDUs when installing components
      • Install and maintain network and power cabling and related equipment in support of the server room, cubicles, conference room, and office areas.
      • Tip the power and network cables and test them, create and maintain labeling standards, create and maintain documentation and drawings using Visio and other applications.
    • Participating in the weekly Mission Critical Utilities Working Group (MCUWG) meetings within the Pentagon building, and providing USAITA with information on upcoming events affecting power and other building and facility resources
    • Maintaining server racks and properly place servers and other equipment in proper location as needed
    • Supporting the bulk shipment or receipt of equipment or supplies

    Conducting initial inspection and preparing Delivery Inspection and Acceptance Document (DI&A) for Government inspection within 3 business days after receipt of goods


    Required Qualifications:
    • DoD Top Secret Clearance
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
    • 0 – 2 years of experience
    • Strong written and oral communication skills


    Desired Qualifications:
    • Security + CE certification, at a minimum
    • Experience in a DoD environment, highly desired
    • ITSM and/or CMMI knowledge and experience


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
    • 0 – 2 years of experience
