Roles and responsibilities of the RF Test Engineer include, but are not limited to:


Under general supervision, performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, and documentation of very complex application that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills. Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E). Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution.

  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment
  • Upon receipt of complete new equipment designs the system engineern will develop and propose rack designs for new equipment installations
  • Troubleshoots and supports RF hardware
  • Provide support as it relates to rack design, floor space, real estate, power, and inter-rack interfaces
  • Provide briefings, as necessary, on rack design, floor space, real estate, power, and inter-rack interfaces as they relate to design reviews



5-8 years of familiarity with basic concepts of RF circuit design and troubleshooting

Experience with RF test equipment (scopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator)



BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent exerience



CompTIA SEC+ CE and at least one Computing Environment Certification required for 8570 compliance
