SMS is seeking a qualified individual skilled in planning and managing the technical design, development, construction and delivery of information technology solutions in the Air Force/DoD space. We are seeking an individual who is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in managing base level contracts. This individual will be responsible for all programmatic, personnel and contractual executions in direct support of the effort and should have demonstrated experience in managing IT services contracts (annual value of $10M+ per year) for the Federal government.
Facilitates technical and contractual implementation issues with customers to ensure conformance to customer requirements. Provide expert leadership, guidance, and supervision to less experienced personnel in regards to forecasting, tracking, and executing project - related tasks, budgets, and resource allocations. Manages all sub-contractor organizations in the execution of their taskings and efforts.
As a Program Manager, your focus will be defining and delivering quality project approaches, plans and results and facilitating technical and contractual implementation issues with customers to ensure conformance to customer expectations. You will serve as the primary customer business and technical point of contact and work proactively to resolve business and technical issues. You will demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills and be skilled at customer presentations.
Minimum ten (10) years’ information technology experience in a managing a base-level or equivalent C4 support organization including 5 years demonstrated expertise in Project Management, Risk Management, and Air Force Emergency Management (AFEM) procedures
TS/SCI eligible security clearance required
