  • Administer and maintain Remedy foundation data.
  • Administer and maintain the F5 Global and Local Traffic Managers.
  • Administer and maintain Oracle database Real-Time Application Cluster (RAC) and Grid Control.
  • Maintain and configure the BMC Remedy AR System server and supporting systems.
  • Perform regularly scheduled security and maintenance patching.
  • Perform quarterly security audits of EITSM configuration.
  • Modify existing workflow or build additional workflow on a limited basis.
  • Support integration and test of EITSM system upgrades and added capability.
  • Support integration and test of EITSM with third-party applications as needed under the change management processes.
  • Maintain and support EITSM systems and applications in the HNI integrated test facility.


Required Skills:

  • Experience with fault and performance management tools; including architecture, installation, configuration, and administration
  • Fault event rules development, performance threshold management, event analysis
  • Experience with tools in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with operations processes: ITIL, Incident, Change, Config Management
  • Good grasp of integrations, protocols, data flow, databases
  • Cross team communications
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up technologies quickly
  • Strong background in Unix, Solaris, Linux, or Windows servers
  • Scripting skills

Desired Skills:

  • Specific experience with BMC products: BPPM and Patrol (preferred), Remedy, CMDB, etc.
  • Management or team leadership
  • Able to motivate people
  • Experience with deploying tools in a virtual environment
  • Best practices, or process development


Education: High School Diploma.  Bachelor’s degree in a Business Management or MIS related field is preferred.


Required Certifications:

BMC Certified Administrator: BMC Remedy IT Service Management 7.x and/or 8.x

BMC Certified Administrator: Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping 8.x

F5 Certified Technology Specialist in Global Traffic Managment (F5-CTS, GTM) and Local Traffic Management (F5-CTS LTM)

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate for Server 2012

Security+ or equivalent
